Known for loving peanut butter M&Ms and platform Uggs, Ana died unexpectedly.
“It’s so awful, so sudden,” Tyler Butler said on Facebook.
“Ana was strong. I remember when I made a self-joke, she’d say, ‘Hey! Don’t talk about my friend like that!’ We’ll miss her care,” he added.
Ana started her journalism in Lubbock, Texas. From Denver, Colorado, she moved to the plains. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2018.
She was a morning and midday anchor in Medford, Oregon, for three years. She covered wildfires and helped pets find homes.
At KOLD-TV, she was kind and stood up for the weak. She loved animal rescue and true crime podcasts.
Her death was first reported by colleagues at the Tucson CBS affiliate on December 16.
”Sad news. Our friend and co-anchor Ana Orsini died suddenly last week,” Tyler Butler and Carsyn Currier announced, crying.
”Ana was here since June 2023. We’re crushed,” Carsyn Currier said, voice breaking.
