Kate said doctors first thought her condition was non-cancerous after surgery. But tests later found cancer. She’s now on preventative chemo.
“It was a huge shock,” she said. “William and I are handling this privately for our family.”
She talked about needing time to recover and tell her kids. “I’m getting stronger every day,” she said.
She thanked William and asked the public for privacy during treatment.
