“It’s truly amazing to have two perfect eggs together,” Scott told ABC Australia.
An expert from Charles Sturt U’s vet school said he’d never seen such a thing.
“One of our free-range hens has been going hard. Check out this monster! The average egg is about 58 grams, but this one’s 176 grams!!!”

Prof Raf Freire said the hen must’ve made an egg but didn’t lay it.
“Then the next day, instead of laying that egg, another ovum was released,” he told ABC.
“That came down and the hen somehow made a shell around both the old egg and the new ovum.”
The experts said the egg was safe to eat, but Scott told ABC they get 50,000 eggs a day, so “didn’t bother.”
Pretty cool, huh? Share this on Facebook if you think so!
