Gal Gadot Reveals She Was Diagnosed With ‘Massive’ Blood Clot in Her Brain While Pregnant

She was rushed to the hospital and had “emergency surgery” within hours.

“My daughter Ori was born in that chaos. Her name, meaning ‘my light,’ was no accident,” she wrote. “Before the op, I told Jaron [Varsano] she’d be the light at the end of this dark tunnel.”

The Wonder Woman star said she “pulled through and started to recover,” thanks to her docs at Cedars Sinai. “Today, I’m all healed and so grateful to have my life back,” she wrote.

“The journey taught me loads,” Gadot added. “First, listen to your body. Pain or changes can be a big sign, and tuning in can save your life.”

She pointed out that “awareness counts,” saying she had “no clue” 3 in 100,000 pregnant women over 30 get brain blood clots. (The National Library of Medicine had the same stat in 2022.)
