“I like living here and raising my kids,” Harry told Sorkin. “It’s a life I never thought I’d have, and it feels like what my mom would’ve wanted for me.”
Harry said his top priority was to be “the best dad and hubby” he could be. “All this happened because of my 10 years in the military and the values I live by,” he said. “It’s getting tougher for people with principles as the world changes. But I want to be known for sticking to my guns.”
At the NYT Summit, Harry also talked about losing the security they had in the UK. (After stepping down, they lost state-funded police protection during UK visits. He’s still fighting to get it back.)
“I never should’ve lost that security,” he said. “The process has been a pain, but I have to wait till April.”
