BILL’S JOURNEY
Bill Cobbs was born on June 16, 1934, in Cleveland, Ohio. He served as a radar technician in the US Air Force for eight years before pursuing acting. At 36, he moved to New York to pursue his acting dream. He led many plays in the city. His first acting role was in The Taking of Pelham One Two Three in 1974. He worked on shows like October Road, The Outer Limits, The Sopranos, Walker, Texas Ranger, CSI, Criminal Minds, The Drew Carey Show, and The Outer Limits. His films include Oz the Great and Powerful, That Thing You Do!, The Hitter, Trading Places, The Color of Money, and The Ultimate Gift. His last movie was Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in 2022, and his last TV show was in 2020. Over his successful career, Bill appeared in over 100 movies and TV shows.
