America’s most beloved family have been involved in a fatal plane crash on route to a concert

A sad plane crash took seven lives from the Nelons, a popular gospel family. The dead were Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, their daughter Amber, son-in-law Nathan Kistler, worker Melanie Hodges, and pilot Larry Haynie and his wife Melissa. Autumn Nelon Streetman, the sole survivor, shared a sad note, showing her pain and thanking people for their prayers and help.

The Nelons were on their way to Alaska for a cruise when the plane crashed in Wyoming. People saw it hit the ground on fire. Rescuers tried but no one made it.

The Nelons got into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in 2016. Their songs like “I Shall Not Be Moved,” “Come Morning,” and “We Shall Wear a Robe and Crown” made them well-known in gospel music.

Autumn said she was “sad and thankful.” The National Transportation Safety Board will look into the crash.

This event hit the gospel music world hard. People will remember the Nelons for their great work in the music.
