600,000 Bottles Of Blood Pressure Medication Recalled Over Contamination!!

Because of an FDA mistake, 600,000 bottles of a common drug are being taken off shelves. Due to ingredients from an unregulated maker, the drug – Ramipril capsules (2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg) – is being recalled over possible contamination fears.

So, check your blood pressure meds. These, made by Indian firm Lupin Pharmaceuticals and sold in 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg strengths, with sell-by dates up to July 2026 and in bottles of 90, 10, and 150, might be part of the recall.

The recalled contaminated blood pressure meds have been sold by 30 vendors. Numbers are big: 350,000 10mg bottles, 146,000 5mg ones, and 110,000 2.5mg ones.
