Jimmy Kimmel’s show will end permanently on January 20, he strongly declared “I’m going to Canada and never coming back to the United States, I hate Elon for life”

After Trump’s supposed re-election and a huge political shift in the US, Jimmy Kimmel has dropped a bombshell. He’ll air the final episode of his late-night show on January 20th. After nearly 20 years of laughs, celeb chats, and political digs, he says he’s “had it” and is heading to Canada for some peace.

“Never thought I’d be here,” Kimmel said in a statement, clearly rattled by the election. “But after the 20th, it’s over. I might open a comedy club in Toronto or vanish in the Rockies. I’m out.”

For fans and his crew, it’s like the end of an era. Viewers took to social media in shock. “#KimmelStay” and “#DontGoJimmy” trended fast.

“I’ve watched him since college. Can’t believe he’s leaving. Who’ll roast the pols now?” a fan tweeted.

Backstage, it’s somber. Crew members hugged and shared memories. “We’re like family. It’s hard to see the show end,” a staffer said.
