4 things many people do in the morning that put themselves closer to a stroke

Most folks have probably heard a lot about strokes. Nowadays, strokes don’t just strike the elderly; they’re hitting younger people, too.

Strokes are super dangerous. If not detected and treated right away, they can really mess up our lives. I read something in the paper and learned there are things we do in the morning that can up our risk of having a stroke. Here’s the lowdown on those habits.

We should steer clear of them because they could easily trigger a stroke. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Quang from the Military Medical Academy has warned everyone to drop some bad morning habits pronto to dodge strokes.

  1. Jumping out of bed right away in the morning
This is a common habit. But health experts say it’s a major stroke risk in the morning.

Dr. Quang warns: Quit the habit of leaping up as soon as you wake. When you’re asleep, your parasympathetic nervous system is in charge. Your heart beats slower, contracts gently, and your blood pressure is lower than when you’re awake.
