The Council on American-Islamic Relations has accused a McDonald’s joint of deliberately adding bacon to a Muslim family’s grub (see video below). The family, visiting from New York, stopped by a Decatur McDonald’s and ordered 14 sandwiches, as AL.com reports.
While chowing down, they found the bacon, which Muslims are strictly barred from eating. “They started noticing it tasted different,” said Khaula Hadeed, head of Alabama’s CAIR chapter. “They always get McChicken at McDonald’s. They knew what they ordered and what was in the sandwich.”
