The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers disclose that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) finally opened up about her part in Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) death.
The whole incident was like an emotional rollercoaster. Sharon came clean to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about what she (thinks) happened on the night of Heather’s passing.
Sharon admitted that she was not only involved in Heather’s death but also cleaned up the crime scene and actively tried to frame Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei).
Nick was horrified as Sharon told him she also believed she was the one who ran Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) off the road, causing her life-threatening injuries.
Naturally, Nick found this all tough to swallow and is still grappling with the news.
To such an extent that he’s engaged Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to represent Sharon and assist her in getting acquitted of the charges.
Deep in his heart, Nick doesn’t believe Sharon was responsible for Heather’s death, and he’s not alone.
Both Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) are having a hard time believing their mother could have done any of this.
While Y&R fans now know that Heather died because of a dreadful scheme cooked up by Ian Ward (Ray Wise) and Jordan (Colleen Zenk) to target Sharon, viewers also sense that this plotline is far from concluded.
Ian and Jordan will probably cause a great deal of chaos in Genoa City before they’re exposed.
Moreover, Sharon is determined to take responsibility for her crimes, so she’s not really cooperating with Michael in his defense plan.
Fans saw her attempting to conceal her blackouts and hallucinations from her lawyer during the Tuesday, November 19 episode.
This probably means that Sharon will either end up in jail or a treatment center for a while before the truth emerges.
This also implies a whole lot of drama is about to unfold, especially once Phyllis wakes up from her coma.
Phyllis will feel justified that she was right; however, her gloating will surely annoy Nick.
Phyllis will also stir up a furious storm to ensure Sharon pays for her actions, one way or another.
Y&R viewers can perceive that there’s still a significant amount of love between Nick and Sharon.
After all, Sharon has recently had dreams of being with Nick, and when he asked her out on a date a few weeks ago, she went to great lengths to impress him.
Most men would have run for the hills if their ex confessed to a murder; however, Nick is sticking by Sharon’s side, looking to support and assist her in any way possible.
Sharon is out on bail after being arrested and likely won’t be incarcerated when her sentence is determined.
Could this present an opportunity for Shick to rekindle their relationship while also mourning the loss of Sharon’s freedom?
It’s not difficult to envision that Sharon could have one last night with her family before she’s locked up for good.
Faith, Mariah, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), and little Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) will be there so Sharon can cherish every moment with her loved ones before the final verdict.
But after Tessa, Mariah, and Aria leave, and Faith goes to a friend’s house, this could leave Sharon and Nick alone.
Shick could discuss their past relationship, the mistakes they made, and the desire for more time to make things right. This is when Sharon and Nick might admit they still love each other and let their emotions prevail.
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that it’ll be a bittersweet moment for #TeamShick fans to witness the couple’s passionate encounter.
Still, since everyone knows Sharon wasn’t the cause of Heather’s fatal end, this could also bring some hope for a genuine Shick reunion once Sharon is released.
