Tom Selleck Celebrates 80th Birthday with Family
Tom Selleck, star of Blue Bloods, celebrated his 80th birthday on Jan. 29 in Thousand Oaks, California, with his wife Jillie Mack, daughter Hannah, and close friends. Photos show the group leaving Tuscany il Ristorante. Selleck held a present and his wife’s hand as they walked to their car. Selleck wore jeans, a maroon shirt, and a blazer, while Mack wore a striped dress and a tan coat.
Selleck and Mack met in 1983 in London and married in 1987. They had a daughter, Hannah, in 1988. Selleck also has a son, Kevin, from his first marriage. In 2024, Selleck said he values the friendship and humor in his marriage with Jillie, and credits her independence for their long marriage.
Selleck’s birthday came over a month after Blue Bloods ended on CBS after 14 seasons. Selleck, who played Frank Reagan, wasn’t happy about the show ending but said he doesn’t hold grudges. He said coming to work on the show was a joy. Despite the end, in 2024, Selleck said he’s grateful for his experiences on Blue Bloods and in his career.
