Michael J. Fox Makes a Heartbreaking New Statement After a 30-Year Struggle with Parkinson’s
Michael J. Fox, who has been bravely battling Parkinson’s disease for three decades, recently shared a deeply moving update about his health situation. Even though he has faced numerous challenges, Fox, a well-known and passionate advocate in the fight against this condition, remains unwavering in his determination to persevere.
In a recent interview, he openly admitted that living with Parkinson’s has become increasingly arduous. He said, “It’s getting a lot tougher.” Fox also disclosed that he had undergone a recent spinal surgery because a benign tumor was affecting his ability to move, which unfortunately led to several fractures. He explained clearly, “You don’t die directly from Parkinson’s. You pass away while having Parkinson’s.” With a strong voice, he firmly declared, “I don’t think I’ll make it to 80.”
Fox’s long and difficult battle with Parkinson’s will be the focal point of his upcoming documentary titled “Still.” In this documentary, he vividly describes the excruciating pain and the constant tremors that he has to endure. Despite all these hardships, Fox still maintains an optimistic attitude, firmly stating that he’s not “giving up or backing down.”
