Donald Trump’s hot mic reveals what he said to Justice Roberts

In today’s fast-paced world, the news cycle seems to be churning even faster than ever. The constant stream of updates about the new Republican administration led by Donald Trump dominates the headlines, capturing the public’s attention.

Along with the flood of news, there’s an abundance of speculation as people closely scrutinize politicians and their actions. The latest piece of news, however, has been set straight by none other than the President himself.

Read on to discover more about what Donald Trump has clarified.

Donald Trump, like any president, has been under the spotlight recently. People hang on his every word and closely observe his every move. Just before his speech to Congress, an interaction between President Trump and Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts raised quite a few eyebrows.

This week, Trump delivered his presidential address to Congress. In his speech, he talked about Vladimir Putin and the “strong signals” of peace that Putin had sent to the United States. Trump also brought up a letter from Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky. In the letter, Zelensky expressed his desire for peace and his willingness to sign a minerals deal with the US whenever it was convenient.

While the speech itself made numerous headlines, it was an incident that preceded it that really piqued people’s curiosity. As Trump was walking past the Justices on his way to the podium, a camera caught him saying “thank you” to Chief Justice John Roberts. Since then, various theories have emerged, with people speculating about the reason behind his expression of gratitude.

But before these theories could gain too much traction, Donald Trump took to his platform, Truth Social, and wrote, “The Fake ‘Play the Ref’ News, in an attempt to create a rift between me and our great U.S. Supreme Court, heard me say last night, loudly and openly as I was walking past the Justices on my way to the podium, ‘thank you’, to Chief Justice John Roberts.”

He continued, “Like many others, I don’t watch the Fake News channels like CNN or MSNBC. But I’ve heard that they’re going ‘crazy’ trying to figure out what I was thanking Justice Roberts for?”

He went on to say, “They never bothered to call my office to ask. But if they had, I would have told these unethical ‘journalists’ that I thanked him for swearing me in on Inauguration Day and doing an excellent job while doing so! The Fake News just never stops its antics!”

In his address to Congress, the war in Ukraine was at the forefront of his agenda. This follows Trump’s controversial Oval Office meeting with Zelensky, during which he told the Ukrainian President that he was “gambling with World War 3.”

“The letter states that Ukraine is eager to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer,” Trump said.

“Nobody desires peace more than the Ukrainians. Regarding the agreement on minerals and security, Ukraine is ready to sign it at any time that suits you,” the letter had stated.

Well, that puts an end to the speculation that stemmed from this incident. What are your thoughts on all of this? Share your views in the comments section.
