Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter, who is rarely seen, reacts to his death after not being included in the family tribute

Jessica Osbourne, the daughter of rock star Ozzy Osbourne, privately talked about how she felt following his death. This was hours after the family made a public statement that she wasn’t in.

On Wednesday, July 22, 2025, Ozzy Osbourne, the 76-year-old lead singer of Black Sabbath and heavy metal hero, died. Around midday, a message on his official social media sites revealed that he had died.

The statement added that when Ozzy died, he was “surrounded by love.” His wife Sharon and four of his children—Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis—signed it.

But the statement does not include Jessica Osbourne. Jessica and Louis are Ozzy’s kids from his first marriage to Thelma Reese. Jessica is Ozzy’s oldest daughter, and she has always stayed out of the spotlight.

We don’t know why Jessica wasn’t mentioned in the statement, but her brother and half-siblings were. We don’t know if this was a mistake or on purpose.

Jessica wrote a tribute on Instagram a few hours after the family made the announcement. She posted a picture of her dad pulling a crazy face at the camera. She put the words “RIP Ozzy” on the picture.

Louis, her brother, also paid tribute to Ozzy in a quiet way. He put a plain black square as his Facebook profile picture.

Louis and Jessica, on the other hand, were not raised in the public eye like Jack, Kelly, and Aimee. Ozzy has a lot of problems with drugs and alcohol during their childhood years.

Ozzy claimed in an interview in 2014, “I was a bad father, an abusive husband, and my ego was as big as India.”

“I was a complete idiot for years. I have so many regrets that I can’t even remember most of them. But I regret hurting my wife and kids the most.

He went on to say, “I’m sorry, but that’s not enough. I couldn’t say it enough times. “I can only stay sober now,” he told the Daily Mail.

Sharon helped and supported Ozzy over time. She became his manager and then his wife. In 1982, they got married. Sharon was a big part of helping Ozzy get his career back on track when he was let go from Black Sabbath in 1979.

Ozzy stated, “She always knows what’s going on.” “I don’t think I could do anything without her.”

Ozzy started a successful solo career with Sharon’s help. Sharon and their son Jack started Ozzfest in 1996. It grew to be one of the greatest rock festivals in the world.

The Osbournes, a reality TV show about the family, made them even more famous. The show made Sharon, Jack, and Kelly all famous. Aimee, their oldest daughter, didn’t want to be a part of it, but she did go out in public with them sometimes.

Louis was in an episode from 2002 called “A Very Ozzy Christmas.” Jessica was never on the show or at any other public family functions, though. Her most recent post is one of the few public evidence that she is close to her father.

Our hearts go out to everyone who is sad about Ozzy’s death, including fans and family.

It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.
