On July 10, Monday, it was reported that Thom Roberts, a gifted stagehand who worked for country music star Randy Travis and Olivia Newton-John in the past, was killed by his 72-year-old wife Christine.
When emergency services answered a call at their home on Howard Avenue around 8 p.m., Christine told them she shot her husband as she thought he was unfaithful, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by Fox News.
A concerned neighbor reported the incident after seeing Roberts lying on the porch. The affidavit said the neighbor “told detectives that the defendant also said she admitted shooting her husband because she found he had cheated.”
Christine was arrested and charged with criminal homicide. Her bond was set at $100,000.
