Recently, Australian animal activist Bindi Irwin opened up about her health issues. On March 7, the 24-year-old revealed an endometriosis diagnosis on Instagram. It’s a condition where cells like those lining the uterus grow outside it.
The Mayo Clinic says endometriosis affects pelvic tissue and can involve ovaries and fallopian tubes, potentially harming the bladder and digestive tract.
She hesitated to share publicly but felt obliged to help other women. She also posted a hospital bed photo.
Irwin described her decade of pain. Tests, doctor visits, and scans finally found the cause. Many doctors first ignored her symptoms.
