Police concerned for missing Leeds man who hasn’t been seen since Friday

Police are increasingly concerned about the welfare of a Leeds man who has not been seen since Friday afternoon.

Denzel Silva was reported missing on Friday night and has not been since 5pm that day, West Yorkshire Police said in a statement. The 22-year-old, who has links to the Gipton and Harehills areas of Leeds, was last seen wearing a navy blue Nike jacket and a plain top. He was also wearing white trousers and black sliders with socks.

Police are urging anyone who might have seen him or have information as to his whereabouts to come forward.

A spokesperson said: “Police are concerned for the welfare of a Leeds man who has been reported missing from home. Denzel Silva, aged 22, was last seen when he left his home address in the Gipton area of Leeds at around 5pm yesterday afternoon (Friday, 29 August) and was reported missing last night.

“He was last seen wearing a navy blue Nike jacket with plain top, white trousers and black sliders with socks. He has links to both the Gipton and Harehills areas of Leeds.”
