9 things you should never plug into a power strip

Life without electricity? Hard to picture. But we rely so much that we forget safety. Big-watt things like ACs and toasters can overload strips, a fire risk. Check strip capacity before plugging.

Some things not for power strips: Oven – High power, needs its own outlet. Fridge – Separate outlet for cycling and energy. Heaters – Wall socket for long use.

Microwave – Own outlet for safety. Coffee Maker – Surprising, but uses lots of power. Toaster – Direct plug to stop overload. Power Strips – No daisy-chaining, it’s against safety rules.

Electronics (Comp, TV, Router) – Use strips with surge protection to dodge power surge damage.
