A tragic shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, left 4 dead and 5 injured. The suspect, a school juvenile, is also dead. Cops responded to the active shooter around 11 a.m. No shots fired by them. ABC News reported.
The school has about 390 K – 12 students. It’s now a site of another sad event spotlighting school challenges.
First responders quickly secured the scene. Now they’re busy reuniting students and families. It’ll take time due to the large community hit.
Sen. Ron Johnson, R – Wis., tweeted condolences. “My prayers for all victims. I’ll watch the situation.” His words show the state and nation’s grief.
Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers called it heartbreaking and thanked first responders. “We’re praying for all. Awaiting more info,” he said, showing the event’s urgency and sorrow.
