A woman woke up, saw something strange in her garden, and took to the internet to solve the mystery. The thing looked ‘alien-like’. It had a thin torso and an oval head. Long, reed-like appendages stuck out where arms and legs should be.

The person who found it first thought it was a mushroom, but soon dismissed that idea.

So, they asked their friends. When the friends were also clueless, they went to the Reddit community for answers.

First, they posted in a mushroom experts’ group, but no one there could identify it. They were told to try the ‘Alien Bodies’ subreddit.
