In a shocker for fans on both sides of the Atlantic, pop star Katy Perry announced on Tuesday she’s boycotting future tours in the US. The Grammy-nominated singer, famous for her hits and shows, will now only tour in the UK.
“I’ve always had a strong bond with my UK fans,” Perry said in an Instagram post that went viral. “The energy and love there are amazing. So, I’m focusing my tours on the UK.”
While she didn’t say exactly why, insiders think it might be due to issues with the US music industry and tour logistics.
