Take Veronica Duque, a teacher, for example. She wore a special costume for her anatomy class.
“I’ve been teaching for 15 years. It’s a mix of science, art, English, and Spanish,” she said. Always hunting for ways to liven up her lessons, she found an ad for this costume on AliExpress. Knowing it’s tough for kids to picture where internal organs are, she figured this could be the fix. Her husband Michael tweeted some photos from her class, and they blew up, getting over 65,000 likes and 14,000 comments.
“I decided ages ago to use costumes in history lessons. For grammar, I use cardboard boxes to make different ‘grammar zones.’ I wish people would stop thinking teachers are lazy. We love our jobs.”
What do you think makes a great teacher?
