America suffers its worst blizzard in 10 years

A mighty blizzard is tearing through multiple US states right now, throwing the lives of over 60 million Americans into chaos. Some governors have declared states of emergency, while others have taken to social media, pleading with folks to hunker down at home.

From Saturday all the way through Monday, January 6th, a fierce blizzard packing sleet, snow, and bone-chilling winds straight from the Arctic has been pounding the United States. A National Weather Service advisory reveals that this 1,500-mile (2,400-kilometer) behemoth of a blizzard, barreling from the heart of the US to the East Coast, is putting more than 60 million people in its crosshairs as it carves a path across the nation.
