Prayers are needed for Kurt Russell

Kurt Vogel Russell, an American actor, hails from Springfield, MA. When he was just twelve years old, he made his first appearance in a television acting role in a western series. In 1983, Russell was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture at the Golden Globes for his part in Mike Nichols’ Silkwood.

His father, Bing, was a performer, and his mother, Louise Julia Russell, is a ballerina.

The Globe has reported that Kurt Russell is suffering from a malignant flesh-eating disease.

The 65-year-old actor, known for his role in The Hateful 8, has apparently been seen with some rather unpleasant sores under his lower lip. It’s believed that these sores are caused by Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (PJS), a condition that is associated with intestinal cancer.

According to Cancer.Net, “the lifetime risk of cancer in those with PJS may be as high as 93 percent.”

Dr. Stuart Fischer, who isn’t treating Kurt, said that the sores are “precancerous lesions that can turn aggressive and dangerous if not treated right away and properly.”

Immunologist and Maryland resident Dr. Gabe Mirkin, who also suspects PJS is the cause of the sores, agrees that Kurt “needs immediate tests.” He needs treatment as soon as possible.

The Globe also claims that Kurt and his 71-year-old long-term partner Goldie Hawn have had some recent arguments.

Kurt was set to be inducted into the Hall of Great Western Performers in Oklahoma City in October. His name is already on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

However, Kurt can’t make it due to an “unexpected medical situation.”

In a statement, the actor said that he needed surgery and that his doctor said it couldn’t be put off. According to The Oklahoman, he’ll be having hip surgery.

“I thought it could wait, but my doctors are adamant that it has to happen in September,” Russell added in the announcement. “Even though I really wanted to be there this year, I’m thankful that the museum decided to delay our honor until 2022 so that I can personally accept this wonderful award.”

Kurt Russell should be congratulated on his induction into the Hall of Great Western Performers! We hope he has a speedy recovery after his treatment later this month.

Conclusion
Kurt was supposed to be inducted into Oklahoma City’s Hall of Great Western Performers, despite his name already being on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Nevertheless, Kurt is unable to attend because of an “unexpected medical situation.” The 64-year-old actor was seen in New Orleans with bruises and scrapes all over his arms and face. The Globe reports that Kurt Russell has a fatal flesh-eating illness.
