William’s D-Day event was before the family’s Trooping the Colour in June. Kate, appointed Colonel of the Irish Guards in 2022, won’t do the Colonel’s Review this year.
A source said Kate won’t return to public or official duties until doctors say so, and there’s no word on when that’ll be.
The source added that Kate’s focusing on recovery, has been seen running errands with family, and puts her kids — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — first. William’s devoted to her recovery, and her mother, siblings, and other family members are helping too.
While she’s kept updated on her patronages, she’s not ready to resume duties yet.
The source said there’s no sign she’ll return to work soon, even though she was updated on the Royal Foundation report last week. She’ll only go back when her medical team approves.
