Since Inauguration Day a month ago, Melania Trump has kept a low profile. She traveled with Trump to LA during wildfires, where she comforted victims, but has otherwise been rarely seen. Melania said her second White House tenure would be different; she won’t live there full – time.
When Trump won in 2024, Melania focused on Barron. Barron moved to NY to study at NYU. Melania said she’d fulfill First Lady duties but also be in NY or Palm Beach when needed.
Melania was with Trump on Election Day and Inauguration Day. Last month, they met California’s governor about wildfire rebuilding. A video of Melania speaking Slovenian to a wildfire victim was praised on social media.
Melania wasn’t at the Super Bowl or some of Trump’s meetings with world leaders. An unnamed source said she’s been filming an Amazon documentary. Amazon confirmed filming started in December 2024, and the project is worth $40 million. Melania said the doc will show her life, from the transition to the White House.
Melania returned to the White House for the Governors Ball. She divides her time between Mar – a – Lago and the White House but hasn’t done official First Lady duties in DC.
During her first term, Melania focused on the Be Best campaign. She hopes to expand it. There are rumors she’ll work on improving Trump’s diet. One source said she and RFK Jr. will try to get Trump to eat healthier, but another Trump source said it’s “nonsense.”
