He also appeared in “Amar es para siempre,” “Vis a Vis: El Oasis,” and “Servir y proteger.” Besides acting, he modeled for major fashion, jewelry, and accessory brands.
De la Torre started acting with no prior theater or film experience. “Since childhood, I found comfort in cinema. But not initially in acting. I watched movies for fun, and it planted a seed that grew into a desire to pursue acting,” he said.
His first performance was during the entrance exams for the drama school, reciting lines from “Romeo and Juliet,” launching his career.
De la Torre said, “I was the only one in my class without theater experience. The first time I recited in public was for the school entrance, but it felt like I’d done it forever … it was amazing.”
