Catherine, Princess of Wales, GCVO (born Catherine Elizabeth Middleton on 9 January 1982), is a British royal. She wed William, the heir presumptive. Born in Reading and raised in Bucklebury, Berkshire, she studied art history at the University of St Andrews after attending St Andrew’s School and Marlborough College. She met Prince William there in 2001. Before their 2010 engagement, she worked in retail, marketing, and philanthropy.
