Michelle has 26 of the 28 symptoms. It’s a rare illness but causes many health problems.
Michelle is two years older than her sister but is small due to dwarfism and the syndrome. She only reaches her sister’s waist.
Michelle needs lots of help: an electric wheelchair, hearing aid, probe, respirator, and visual aids. She and her family spend a lot of time in the hospital. At 25, she’s sometimes mistaken for a child.
“Michelle is 20 now. She’s smart and happy. She’s one of the happiest 20-year-olds I know,” her mother said.
“She makes people happy. She knows she’s different but stays strong.”
Michelle is a great, unique young woman. She wants to date and be like her sister. She doesn’t care about a guy’s height but hopes for long hair.
She also wants to be a doctor!
