HE HELD HER HAND UNTIL HER LAST BREATH…See more

My husband was my hero..

From the moment I met him, I knew what it was like to be loved in a way I never thought I would be.

He taught me to dream, to strive, to believe in myself and to respect myself.

We started when there was little but always hand in hand. Always with the promise that everything that was missing TODAY with effort we would have plenty of tomorrow.

Whenever we went out he would tell me to hold his hand. It was even automatic that as soon as we stepped outside we were already holding hands.

When they called me to tell me that his motorcycle had been hit by a car I went out without thinking to look for him.

I was just a few blocks from home.

When I arrived I knew. My future at his side would end THAT DAY.

So I lay down next to him. He wouldn’t open his eyes anymore but I knew I had a few minutes to tell him everything I wanted.

I told him how grateful my soul was for everything and I held his hand. Suddenly he squeezed it tightly and then. He was gone.

I didn’t let go until the 4mb arrived.
