His Daughter’s Best Friend Said She Just Wanted to ‘Talk’… But She Locked the Door

Mark was doing the dishes when Lily showed up. His daughter’s best friend. Barely 24. All legs and lipstick.

“Hey, Mr. Carson. Can we talk?”

He hesitated, drying his hands. “Sure… Is everything okay?”

They went to the study. She closed the door. Locked it.

He blinked. “Why did you—”

“I like older men,” she said, walking toward him. “Mature. Quiet. Strong.”

He backed up. “Lily, this isn’t—”

She placed a finger on his lips. “Don’t speak. I already made up my mind.”

She wasn’t there to talk. And Mark… no longer wanted to stop her.
