TV legend Lorraine Kelly has sent a powerful message about body image — proudly showing off her natural figure in a white bikini and telling viewers, “I’ve got a belly!”
On Thursday’s episode of her ITV programme, the 65-year-old presenter shared a poolside photo from her recent holiday, using it to highlight the dangers of airbrushing and filters on social media. Sitting alongside Emily Clarkson — daughter of Jeremy Clarkson and a vocal advocate for body positivity — Lorraine explored how even subtle tweaks can distort our perception of reality.

In a side-by-side comparison, Lorraine’s original holiday snap was shown next to a digitally altered version. While amused at the exaggerated results, she made her point clear. “It just shows what you can do now. I looked at it and laughed – I thought, crikey!” she said, before proudly adding, “That’s more kind of normal. I’ve got a belly — who hasn’t?”

Lorraine also fondly recalled her 2016 on-air campaign The Bikini Promise, where she famously stripped down on live TV to encourage viewers of all ages and sizes to embrace their bodies. “I did lather on the fake tan,” she joked. “I was the colour of a satsuma!”
Her defiant statement comes at a time when ITV has cut her programme’s duration to just 30 minutes and made it seasonal. Sources claim Lorraine felt “insulted” by proposed changes and was prepared to walk — but has agreed to stay on until at least the end of 2026.
Lorraine Kelly praised as she removes hair extension live on ITV show
Lorraine Kelly left her fans in awe as she removed a hair extension live on air this morning, making a confession about her own locks in the process.
Fans of Lorraine Kelly have praised the daytime TV star following her on-air revelation today. The telly favourite displayed her natural look by removing a hair extension on this morning’s show.
Engaging candidly with viewers during a conversation with celebrity hairstylist Richard Ward, the much-loved Scottish host and mother pronounced that she sports the extension “for telly”, highlighting an issue that affects countless women.

As Lorraine reached behind her head, she briskly addressed her audience: “Can I just say, every morning when I’m on the telly, I have these wee things.” Promptly, she pulled off a hair extension and whimsically swung it overhead, proclaiming playfully: “Look, da, da, da, da,”.
Her guest, the famed stylist Richard Ward, exclaimed with amusement: “Oh my god, that’s fantastic,” to which Lorraine humorously answered: “Aren’t they great?!
“I don’t do it for real, true life, but I do it for telly. Helen puts them in in the morning,” she delineated. The infectious moment was captured in the video clip below.
In continued jest, Lorraine amusingly stretched the hair piece across her face and under her chin, reports the Mirror.
