Video of the baby went viral on social media
Babies have a natural ability to surprise their parents with unexpected behavior and when these scenes are captured on camera, the result often goes viral on social media.
That’s exactly what happened to little Nora, just nine months old, who became a sensation on TikTok after a curious moment was recorded by a baby monitor. The episode, in addition to captivating internet users, drew laughter and delight from thousands of people.
The story took place in Plymouth, UK. The baby’s mother, Holly Sansom, 30, said that everything seemed normal when it was time to put her daughter to sleep. Together with her partner, Jack Rundle, she followed the usual ritual of putting Nora in the crib.
Soon after, she went up to the couple’s bedroom, where they turned on the monitor to monitor their daughter’s sleep. What they saw, however, left them open-mouthed and then laughing a lot. Far from being asleep, Nora appeared on the screen sitting, still and silent, as if she were waiting for something or reflecting on life.
“She sat there, staring at the door as if she was waiting for us to come back. It was like she was meditating ,” joked Holly, who couldn’t resist recording the moment on her cell phone. Watch the moment:

The video was shared on TikTok and quickly garnered over 635,000 views and tens of thousands of likes. The baby’s serenity and calm expression drew comments like “this child knows something we don’t” and “she’s planning to take over the world.”
According to Holly, Nora tends to follow her own cues when it comes to bedtime, and this type of behavior is more common than it seems. “She does whatever she wants. Ever since she learned to sit up, I’ve been watching the monitor the whole time,” her mother revealed.
The scene, although simple, touches on a profound aspect of real motherhood, one full of surprises, unexpected laughter and unique moments that only a baby can provide.
