Pharmacist reveals two w:arning signs of silent k𝓲llєr that you might spot in your feet

We all know diet and exercise are crucial for good health, but did you know your feet can reveal health info?

A pharmacist says our feet can show warning signs of serious conditions.

When was the last time you really looked at your feet?

Noel Wicks, a pharmacist and advisor to Excilor, emphasized the importance of closely examining this often – overlooked body part.

So, what to watch for?
He told the Express that feet can warn of two serious conditions, but socks and shoes might hide key info.

He said, “We must pay attention to foot health, including toenails, as it can affect overall health and signal serious issues.”

Since the blood vessels in the toes are small, they can easily get blocked. This may cause cold, painful, swollen, or numb feet.

Noel said this could be a warning sign of heart disease, not to be ignored.

It’s not just the skin; toenails matter too.

“Toenail thickening and brittleness can also occur with heart disease,” he added.

What is peripheral arterial disease?
The NHS says peripheral arterial disease (PAD), or peripheral vascular disease, happens when fatty deposits in arteries limit blood flow to leg muscles.
