After a long and tiring drive, a couple decided to take a break at a luxurious hotel. When it was time to check out, they were handed a bill for a staggering $350.
“This has to be a mistake,” the husband exclaimed, clearly taken aback. “We were hardly here for long!”
“No mistake at all,” the male receptionist responded with a cheery smile. “The fee covers access to our Olympic – sized pool, the spa, and the conference center.”
“But we didn’t use any of those facilities!” the husband retorted, growing a bit frustrated.
“Yes, but they were at your disposal,” the receptionist grinned, standing his ground.
The husband didn’t say a word. Instead, he quickly scribbled a check for $50 and handed it over.
“Hey, this is only $50,” the receptionist said, looking puzzled.
“That’s correct,” the husband replied coolly. “I’m charging you $300 for sleeping with my wife.”
“But I didn’t!” the receptionist protested vehemently.
“Well,” the husband shrugged nonchalantly, “she was available!”
