Jalisco authorities claim to have key audiovisual material to clarify the murder of  Valeria Márquez , the 23-year-old influencer executed on May 13 during a live broadcast from her beauty salon in Zapopan.

Governor Pablo Lemus Navarro confirmed that the cameras of the Urban Shield C5 system captured the escape of the alleged perpetrators in two different vehicles.

“The cameras were working. That’s where we obtained the videos that show where the attackers fled,” Lemus said.

According to the president, the attackers fled on a motorcycle and a white car, taking different routes after the crime.

Valeria Márquez  was attacked in broad daylight inside her business,  Blossom The Beauty Lounge , while interacting with her followers on TikTok. The exact moment she was shot was captured during the broadcast.

The broadcast was abruptly cut off by a woman who was present at the execution. The incident quickly went viral, generating rumors and speculation.

The State Prosecutor’s Office reported that the attacker entered the premises asking for her and, after identifying her, shot her.

Three lines of research and key statements

Governor Lemus explained that three lines of investigation are being pursued in parallel and that more than 20 people have been interviewed, including family members, friends, and witnesses. Among them is Vivian de la Torre, Valeria’s friend, who allegedly insisted she remain at the establishment that day and has been the subject of criticism on social media.

Lemus also ruled out any links between Valeria and criminal groups, refuting rumors that linked her to Ricardo Ruiz Velasco, “Doble R,” leader of the CJNG (Nationalist Communist Party of Mexico).A mysterious bouquet with a “Sorry” message was left at Blossom The Beauty Lounge .

Six days after the crime, a bouquet of roses with a white ribbon reading “Sorry” was found outside the salon. Authorities are analyzing security footage to identify who left it, as the gesture has been considered suspicious.
