Despite their struggles and fights, they never thought of separation.
While doctors thought it was too risky, the twins said no when asked if they wanted to be separated.
According to Michigan Live, Ronnie and Donnie both said: “God made us this way. Let Jesus separate us.”
In the last few years, Jim and Mary took care of them.
In 2009, they were hospitalized after blood clots in Ronnie’s lungs.
Sadly, Ronnie and Donnie died of heart failure on 4 July 2020, at 68 years and 253 days old.
