A bride’s wedding photo holds a strange yet soothing detail for a mom who lost her daughter. In 2022, Tahlia and Cecil Murphy, both 28, were shattered when their 17-month-old, Taidyn “Totty” Murphy, drowned in their garden spa.
Three months after Totty’s death, Tahlia, who already had three other kids, married Cecil. The whole wedding was for Totty. But one photo stands out. In a sunny shot of the couple kissing, a mysterious figure lurks.
Tahlia told Daily Mail Australia, “Our day was for her. We had her pic, a seat, and a bouquet. Our eldest walked with her ashes, and some were in our rings.” She was heartbroken Totty couldn’t be there. But when a friend showed her the figure in the photo, she felt better.
She said, “A friend found it and sent it circled. I was in bed and saw it. I ran to my husband. We got goosebumps and cried. It’s our Totty in a white dress behind a tree.”
