Can you Solve this Tricky Picture

If three of the same ducks multiply to 8, we gotta reverse-engineer it. Let’s find the cube root of 8:

2 x 2 x 2 = 8

That means each duck is worth 2.

In the third row, three foxes add up to 15. Just like with the chickens, divide the total by the number of foxes to find the value of one fox:

15 ÷ 3 = 5

So each fox is worth 5.

Now for the toughest part – the final equation. The puzzle gives us this to solve:

Chicken – Duck x Fox =?

Now that we know the animal values, we can swap in the numbers we calculated:

4 (Chicken) – 2 (Duck) x 5 (Fox) =?

Before you jump to subtract, remember in math, we follow the order of operations, aka PEMDAS (Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division, Addition and Subtraction). Multiplication comes first.
