Anne Whitfield of White Christmas died.
She was 85.
Her family said the veteran actress had an “unexpected accident” while walking near her D.C. home.
Whitfield played Susan Waverly in the 1954 film White Christmas.
She passed away at Valley Memorial Hospital in Yakima, Washington, with her family.
“Anne Langham Whitfield Phillips lived a good life, always trying to make the world and people around her better,” they said.
