Rob Burrow, an MND activist, taped messages for his kids to be heard at life’s important times. His wife, Lindsey, said she’s proud of his lasting mark. After his death, there was lots of support, like a warm message from Prince William.
Burrow passed away at 41 on June 2. He left a strong last message: don’t waste time. Besides his BBC doc speech, he recorded private words for his children. Lindsey said it’s too early to view them. They have birthday wishes and future advice.
Rob, a rugby star, won many titles with Leeds Rhinos and played for England and Great Britain. Prince William praised him as a “legend” with “a huge heart” after he died.
