The house is owned by the Hoffmann Family of Companies. They said, “Our hearts are with the family who lost kids and grandkids.”
A GoFundMe by Dan Tripp, a local brewery co-owner, has raised over $145,000. Evelyn and Jennifer are in a local merchants group. Tripp said the money’s for funeral costs and helping the family after losing their home.
Neighbor Laura Emerson put a Christmas wreath on the ruined house. She said of the boys, “They were happy, smart, and loved.”
The tragedy has left a hole in the community. People support the family, and the boys’ memories will live on. Their love for life and learning and the joy they gave will always be remembered.
