Can You Solve This Viral Riddle?
Have you ever looked at a picture puzzle and thought it would be super easy?
Brain teasers are a great way to test how sharp your eyes really are.
Today, we have a very popular visual riddle that is confusing a lot of people online.

Take a close look at the image above.
There are three people standing next to each other: Eva, Anna, and Rick.
All of them look sad, uncomfortable, or hurt.
But here is the catch: one of them is completely faking it!
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to find out who is pretending to be sick.
Let us look at each person one by one to find the clues.
Candidate Number 1: Eva
First, let us examine Eva on the far left.
She is wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt and red pants.
Eva is leaning forward and holding her stomach with both hands.
Her face looks quite pale and she seems to be in pain.
Could she be faking a stomach ache just to stay home from school or work?
It is possible, but a stomach ache is hard to prove or disprove just by looking at someone.
Let us keep looking before we make our final guess.
Candidate Number 2: Anna
Next up, we have Anna standing in the middle.
Anna is wearing a pink top and green striped pants.
She has a very large, white cast on her left leg.
Because of her injured leg, she is leaning on two long crutches to stand up.
She looks very tired and sad.
Putting on a giant leg cast and walking with crutches takes a lot of effort.
It seems like a very difficult thing to fake just for fun, doesn’t it?
So, Anna might actually be telling the truth about her injury.
Candidate Number 3: Rick
Finally, let us look at Rick on the right side.
Rick is wearing a brown sweater over a collared shirt and blue jeans.
His right arm is wrapped heavily in a white bandage and held up by a brown sling.
He stands there with a worried expression on his face.
A broken arm or a sprained wrist is a very common injury.
At first glance, Rick looks just as hurt as the other two.
But remember what the image says at the bottom: “Pay attention to the details!”
If you look really, really closely at Rick, something does not add up.
The Big Reveal
Did you manage to find the hidden clue?
Let us think logically about what happens when you injure your hand or arm.
If your right arm is broken and wrapped tightly in a cast, you cannot use it at all.
You certainly cannot use your right hand to slide a heavy object into your pocket.
Now, look closely at Rick’s blue jeans.
Look at the right side of his pants, directly under his injured arm.
Do you see that rectangular shape pushing against the fabric?
That is clearly a smartphone tucked neatly inside his right pocket!
If Rick’s right arm was truly broken and stuck in that sling, he would not be able to put his phone in that specific pocket.
He would have used his left hand and put it in his left pocket instead.
Therefore, Rick is the one who is pretending to be sick!
