All The Celebrities Whose Homes Have Burned Down In Devastating Wildfires

The wildfires raging in Los Angeles have caused destruction, taking lives, homes, and memories. At least 10 people died, and around 180,000 residents had to evacuate as the fires burned for a third day. Many Hollywood stars’ luxury homes were also hit. Here are some of them:

Anthony Hopkins
The Oscar winner’s colonial home in Pacific Palisades was destroyed. It’s the second time he’s faced such a loss; his London home burned in 2000 and his Palisades home nearly burned in 2018. At 87, he has to rebuild again.

Mel Gibson
The “Mad Max” actor lost his Malibu home he had for over a decade. He called it “devastating” and said his neighborhood was “completely toasted.” He was in Texas during the fire and was shocked to find his home gone when he returned. But he’s glad his family, including his wife, son, and chickens, are safe.

Jeff Bridges
Jeff Bridges’ family home, which he inherited from his parents and shared with his wife, was destroyed. He battled lymphoma there in 2020 – 2021, so the loss is especially sad.

Candy Spelling
Candy Spelling lost the Malibu beachfront property she shared with her late husband for 50 years. The 8,000 – square – foot house was under construction and was listed for $23 million. Now it’s gone.

Diane Warren
Songwriter Diane Warren lost her 30 – year – old Malibu beach house. But she found comfort knowing the animals at her nearby rescue ranch were okay. She shared a hopeful photo on Instagram.
